Hi I’m Sophie, founder of Be Your Best Version and a sustainability consultant based in Nottinghamshire, supporting SMEs across the East Midlands and the wider UK.

I’ve always cared deeply about climate change. As a child I watched reports about the ozone layer and wondered why we weren’t acting faster. I followed my passion for business studies at university and for nearly two decades worked in communications, engagement and leadership coaching roles in retail and the NHS, guiding people and organisations through meaningful change. After my Mum passed away I took the opportunity to retrain and pursue my passion for climate action.

Since launching my consultancy, I’ve worked with hundreds of small businesses to understand their environmental impact, unlock decarbonisation funding, and take confident steps toward lowering emissions. I specialise in carbon footprint reduction, ISO 14001 internal audits, energy efficiency and supplier sustainability assessments—always with a practical, people‑first approach.
